Abstract

This research study is carried out in order to propose inclusive methodologies and strategies for blind children within a comprehensive classroom. This problem has been determined from my work as a tutor to a student with special educational needs in a school which lacks the appropriate methodologies to meet her needs, which are a product of her visual impairment. This situation has given us the opportunity to determine and apply inclusive methodological strategies in various scientific branches that make up the ninth level EGB curriculum. This study has resulted in the development of a theoretical basis concerning the issue of blindness, how blind students live, and how they deal with their everyday lives and culture. With this data, we have proposed activities using musical and technological resources, which guarantee the students’ participation and total development.
