Interacciones docentes-estudiantes y prácticas sexistas en el aula delsistema de educación intercultural bilingüe, docente de la carrera de Educación Especial

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the mechanisms of teacher interactionstudents in the classrooms of the Bilingual Intercultural Education system and how they determine or not sexist practices that affect the socialization of indigenous girls of the Kichwa nationality. The research was carried out within the framework of the analysis of Bilingual Intercultural Education in Ecuador and the consequences of the isolation of indigenous social actors in their integral management. The investigation considered a non-probabilistic sample of 5 schools in the Guanujo parish, Guaranda canton, Bolivar province. The research was of qualitative type in the action-research modality, considered participatory observation techniques, semi-structured interviews and documentary research. The study identified 56 community schools closed in the canton of Guaranda in the last decade. It was verified how the school classroom gives rise to sexist practices that are anchored in socialization and what it means to be a child, indigenous and poor in Ecuador. The results found invite us to review the management mechanisms of the bilingual intercultural education system, guaranteeing its relevance, quality and relevance in strengthening interculturality and in the exercise of the rights of children and adolescents.
