Guía didáctica para estimular el desarrollo del lenguaje de un estudiante con Trastorno del Espectro Autista de la Unidad Educativa Especial Manuela Espejo

Abstract

This research focuses its attention on the importance of stimulating language development in people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), since it is essential to generate greater autonomy in them and thus favor the interaction they have with people. that surround them. Therefore, in the present work the following research question was established: How to stimulate language in a student with ASD in the third year of Elementary Basic Education of the Manuela Espejo Special Educational Unit? and to answer this question, the following general objective is proposed: Propose a didactic guide for the stimulation of the language of a student with ASD. An investigation and search of various sources that made it possible to base and theoretically support the study was carried out. The research is governed from a qualitative approach and selecting a student with autism spectrum disorder as a case study. Different techniques were applied for the collection and analysis of data such as: observation, interview, documentary analysis and data triangulation, which resulted in the need to stimulate the areas of language comprehension, promote lexical or vocabulary development and also enhance the significant development of language: grammatical structures and pronunciation. Subsequently, an activity guide composed of three sections each with four activities focused on stimulating language development with guidelines for the teacher and mother is designed.
