Abstract

Currently in the educational centers at the national level are very few that have an educational counselor in their educational institutions, only those that have a large number of students and that these educational units are usually the ones that have this human resource that the helps to solve the different problems that are detected in them, and even if they do not have the updated knowledge to correctly guide students. But the other side of the coin are those institutions that are in the rural area like the one I work, in which there is a lack of resources and guidance when making decisions about their higher education, which will help them to develop labor in the immediate environment, since being a largely agricultural area many of them do not want to establish a working relationship in their environment but go to the nearest urban area where there are a variety of jobs. For this reason concerned about this reality that is felt daily in my educational environment this issue will be very helpful and will serve as a guide to effectively guide students in these areas of difficult access located in the canton of Daule, Los Lojas Parish of the Sabanilla Campus.
