Abstract

The objective of this work is to analyze, interpret and model the measures of central tendency for grouped data and not grouped with real-life situations, making use of the TICS in the "Unidad Popular" Educational Unit with students of the second year of Bachillerato Genearal Unificado. It develops activities of practical life and the environment. The development of the didactic unit is based on meaningful learning, from the solution of real life problems and environment such as: training of athletes, student statures, number of books read and grades of students, obtaining in them the necessary motivation to learn statistics and especially the main measures of central tendency such as: arithmetic measurements, medium and mode.When developing the activities, the students analyze and interpret the measures of central tendency for grouped and ungrouped data, being the protagonists of the class and thus obtaining a significant learning.
