Formación en valores inclusivos en el proceso educativo, con los estudiantes y padres de familia de la escuela de Educación Básica “Alfonso Ayora”

Abstract

The present master's research carried out at the “Alfonso Ayora” Basic Education School, under the philosophical guidelines of the National University of Education (UNAE), investigates the formation in inclusive values in the educational process with students and parents of this basic education school. Research line: processes of inclusion and socio-educational exclusion, sub-line, equity and inclusion for school improvement. The research considers a statistic of 18 students and 12 parents as legal representatives of the boys and girls of this rural educational center. A diagnosis was made on the inclusive values observed by children as one of the moments of the investigation; and it is found that those do not have well-founded the values of tolerance and respect, so an intervention plan with an inclusive approach is proposed to optimize these values and make them evident afterwards through the practice of daily positive actions. The role of the teacher in inclusive processes is fundamental, he is responsible for the comprehensive training of citizens for the new generations, so he cannot be limited to teaching homogeneous classes to students with well-marked individual differences. An educational intervention project will be carried out to improve the experiences of the student and parent in their multiple contexts of work, study, and fun, considering inclusive values.
