El arte postal y la heurística en línea

Abstract

Following the idea of innovating in the ways of doing educational research through methodologies that include the mediation of artistic expressions, the notion of arts-based research (ABR) is proposed as the basis of the experiences of a group of students from the Universidad Nacional de Educación del Ecuador (UNAE) within the project of Residencia de Investigación Artística (Artistic Research Residency, RIA for its Spanish acronym) during the global pandemic of the 2020. The main axes of this work start from the experience of researching online, in the spaces that emerge with technology for the exchange of information and subjective dynamics in times of tele-research; references with theorists of postal art are presented; and the compositions of text and images created by the participants of the experience are reviewed from the artistic and performative tendencies of the IBA. From this methodological perspective, and as part of the process of systematizing the RIA experience, it is shown how heuristic methods work from the absence of the presence. And through a proposal like that of postal art, opinions, expectations and feelings of the collaborators of the experience are collected as an alternative dynamic for a focus group.
