El desarrollo local desde la enseñanza - aprendizaje de las Ciencias Naturales en la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos de la Unidad Educativa Paccha, del cantón Cuenca parroquia Paccha, año lectivo 2021-2022.

Abstract

The development of a town is subject to economic, cultural, environmental and, educational factors in search of improving the quality of life of the inhabitants. The objective of this research is to determine the methodological strategies that contribute to local development from the teaching-learning of Natural Sciences (CCNN), in the Youth and Adult Education program (YAE) of Paccha School, located in the city of Cuenca. For this research, a qualitative methodology of a descriptive nature was used, using instruments such as interviews which were applied to people who know the reality of the parish as the president of the GAD and the priest. In addition, observation guides were made to teachers of Natural Sciences and school (UEP) documents were reviewed. Among the results obtained, it was observed that CCNN teachers in YAE it was observed that teachers of CCNN in YAE were still using traditional methodologies in the teaching process, and the curriculum is not contextualized; however, it was determined that the interaction of students with the environment is fundamental in learning, since previous experience helps to determine strengths and weaknesses. Another aspect of the research work that stands out is the elaboration of the guide where the methodological strategies that contribute to the progress of the territories are identified, among the main ones, reference is made to: experiential learning, problem-based learning, project-based learning and field work. The proposal was submitted to a process of validation by experts, which guarantees its reliability. Finally, it is concluded that the articulation of local problems, the wealth of the parish, education, and the potential of youth and adults contribute to local development.
