Motricidad Fina en Infantes de 3 a 4 años del Centro de Educación Inicial ABC en el Ámbito Expresión Corporal y Motricidad en Cuenca-Ecuador

Abstract

The present research focused on the study of fine motor skills in infants of the ABC Early Education Center in the area of body expression and motor skills, with the objective of designing a booklet of activities that strengthen the development of fine motor skills in the area of body expression and motor skills in infants aged 3-4 years. A theoretical approach to motor skills was made from the constructivist paradigm, based on the authors Jean Piaget from Papalia et al. (2019), Henry Wallon from the author Martínez (2014) and the classification of fine motor skills by Frías (2014), we also proceeded to make an approach to what the Early Education curriculum (2014) establishes in the field of corporal expression and motor skills and we approached learning based on play from the perspective of María Montessori by the author Hernández (2020). Methodologically, the study was approached from the sociocritical paradigm, with a qualitative approach, the type of study is field study and the design is case study. Likewise, the categorization and subcategorization matrix will be presented, where each heading is specified and related to its indicator in relation to the object of study. As for the techniques, an in-depth interview and participant observation were applied, the instruments were the questions guide and the observation guide, which allowed gathering information that supported the work. The results of a diagnostic study showed that several of the infants in sublevel 2 initial 1A present different difficulties in the development of fine motor skills, so that the proposal contained in this work could strengthen the development of this area. The main finding of the work is the design of the theoretical-practical proposal "Manitos en acción" (Little hands in action) which has ten activities that seek to strengthen the infants' motor skills.
