Abstract

The work presented below was implemented with the purpose of applying all the techniques, activities, theories and methodological strategies acquired during all the time that the course lasted to obtain the degree of the Master's Degree in Language and Literature, in which, a didactic sequence was designed using as its main topic "Musical Literature in the Social Context", with the primary objective of Appropriating the Ecuadorian literary heritage, from the knowledge of its main exponents, to build a sense of belonging , achieving through this implementation, positive results in the students, the same ones that with a willing, solicitous and motivating attitude exceed the expectations that were held from the beginning in every activity, where the answers that were received, show that the learning using music in some way, helps to understand the reality easily. Having this in mind, it is recommended, while there is a possibility, to implement activities with music that develop attitudinal skills and awaken new aptitudes in the student.
