Abstract

The purpose of this work is to promote reading through fantastic works such as legends and myths to promote and strengthen literacy skills. For this reason, a didactic unit is created, which allows a quality teaching-learning through a series of activities of interest for the students resulting in the optimization of the reading skills, the reading is evident in the progress of the students for the development of thought allowing analysis, criticism, reflection, etc. Then the workshops and evaluation activities are presented. The TFM exposes the importance of the motivation that should be offered to reading as an important basis of learning, for this reason teachers should be aware of the interests and expectations of schoolchildren to achieve the inclination and enjoyment of texts in the educational task.
