Abstract: | Critical thinking is a key factor in education and citizen’s formation to become: critical, reflective, proactive, good at making decisions and transforming society. Concerning to new educational trends, this topic has gained force; however, it has not been developed efficiently even though it is part of the epistemological support of the Ecuadorian Educational Reform. Theorists and programs have offered guidelines and tools for its application; however, any real research has been carried out. Being able to prepare responsible, capable and discerning citizens in a digital society, with an exponential technological advance, is a new challenge for teachers and that is where critical thinking takes on a relevant role. Cedfi has already incorporated critical thinking into its educational system as a fundamental axis in its practice, looking forward a change in education. |
Description: | El desarrollo del pensamiento, es un elemento clave en la educación y en la formación de ciudadanos: críticos, reflexivos, propositivos, capaces de tomar decisiones y ser transformadores de la sociedad. Dentro de las nuevas tendencias educativas este tema cobra fuerza; sin embargo, no ha sido desarrollado de forma eficiente pese a ser parte del sustento epistemológico de la reforma ecuatoriana. Existen teóricos y programas que ofrecen lineamientos y herramientas para su aplicación; sin embargo, no se ha trabajado al respecto. El poder preparar ciudadanos responsables, capaces y con criterio en una sociedad digitalizada, con un avance tecnológico exponencial es un nuevo reto para los docentes y es ahí donde el desarrollo del pensamiento y el pensamiento crítico cobra un papel relevante. La Unidad Educativa Particular Cedfi, dentro de sus procesos de formación ha incorporado el desarrollo del pensamiento como un eje fundamental dentro de su práctica, buscando un cambio en la educación. |
